DataTrans has been purpose-built from the outset, designed specifically to address the complex process automation, real-time data distribution and enterprise integration needs of financial enterprises with a single software solution. 

Principles and Technologies

DataTrans has been designed using best-practice software architecture and engineering principles. It was born out of a need for a software product based on Microsoft technology that could perform to the high demands of the financial services enterprise.The product promotes an open, standards-based architecture. It embraces Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), full extensibility and interoperability.Components are written using Microsoft .NET technology and configurations can be exported as XML.

Adaptability, Flexibility, Scalability

DataTrans can be configured and deployed in a variety of ways to support different, varied business models such as:

• A request-response model with low latency, high volume transaction processing where processes complete within milliseconds
• Event driven integration, where processes need to execute as the result of system or application events
• Complex long-cycle processes that take months to complete and have multiple inputs, outputs and dependencies along the way
• The bulk data management required under the time pressure of reducing batch windows

DataTrans has been designed to handle all of these together in a single highly manageable solution. The key is adaptability, flexibility and scalability – all intrinsic to the m35 platform.
